Mi Delias!! I come here often, so I feel like this is my second home, especially, when the food tastes home cooked. I love coming into Delias after work to eat and relax. I usually order a veggie omelette with bacon and sausage and it tastes like heaven in my mouth!! It's very homey at Delias, and that's why I love eating here.

A tiny, family run mexican diner. Cash only, but my favourite new breakfast place. For $5 you get a 6 inch egg and potato burrito filled with the meat of your choice. Wash it all down with a coffee (which for a no name location, tastes pretty good). Enjoy a 10% discount with Yelp! Parking: Plenty of free street parking
(4)Carol L.
The least expensive of the BREAKFAST BURRITOS ($4.50) I tried and also the most reminiscent of home-cooking. I added avocado for $1 more. This modest restaurant sits on York Blvd, but away from the growing hipster stretch further east. The space is on the small side with only seven tables. Come here to enjoy a quieter meal. Order/pay at the counter and bring cash. Be sure to check out the chalkboard specials.
(4)Hugo L.
This place is great! Foods been great for almost 10 yrs! They keep up the home cooked taste and no matter how busy Delia will always greet you with a smile! My long time favorite is the breakfast special! Simple but taste like home!
(5)Jason T.
Cute little hidden Mexican gem on York Blvd. Simple, one counter. Offering a mix of burritos, tacos, tortas, etc. Cash only. Good food - the breakfast burrito is really nice. Friendly and helpful staff! No complaints. Great casual place for a good bite to eat.
(4)Collin C.
Absolutely 5 stars. The food and service out class the prices on their food, which is cheap! A true gem of highland park and Los Angeles. The first time I discovered this place (through Yelp) I came here 4 times that week. Delia is as sweet as can be, beyond accommodating and welcoming. The food is nothing fancy, but it is executed flawlessly. Breakfast combos, quesadillas, tortas, tacos, burritos, burgers, you name it, it's all tasty. Their home-aid salsa is packing with flavor, and so are their dishes. The meat is well seasoned, and they do a good job of making it all come together. Veggie options too. Their breakfast burritos are among my favorites. Great size, packed with hash browns, eggs, cheese, and your choice of sausage, bacon, chorizo, or avocado for only $5! The service is with a genuine smile and the food is right. You'll be inspired to tip. They have booths inside this family dive, and a few tables on their charming patio decorated with a colorful painted mural and a plethora of plants. This place is hoping on a Sunday morning.
(5)Eddy P.
This is my favorite place in the neighborhood. Real community feel with delicious food and reasonable prices to back it up. You really cannot beat the breakfast burrito, I personally get chorizo, bacon, and avocado but all combinations are killer. Delia is an angel and will always greet you with a smile. The rest of the staff follows her lead. I recently discovered the tortas, the carne asada with everything may be my new go to. Must check out
(5)Cindy G.
ordered pick up from Delia's today and they are still good! still super kind and when I came in to pick up the food, Delia was sweet while helping me out. and the carne asada meat here, OMG! so good and flavorful!
(5)Wendianne L.
Still the best of the best. Friendly service is amazing. The newly added fish tacos and shrimp tacos are huge and delicious and affordable. Can't recommend enough. Veggie wet burrito is still number one and the potato tacos are great, too.
(5)Diana G.
Didn't want to spend $25+ on breakfast so I jumped on yelp and searched for Chilaquiles. This place was at the top of the list and decided to go for it. Ordered the Chilaquiles plate for $6.50, my boyfriend got the breakfast special for $5.50 (see pictures), and we added an orange juice for $1.99. The servings were large and the food was delicious, but best of all, it was very affordable! Will definitely be going back!
(5)Pam T.
Love there chilaquiles breakfast .. Lil spicey but yummy ! I ordered take out from here twice very nice people Only thing cash only
(4)Peter W.
this is the best place in the world and it is run by sweet little baby Angels who make food with love and help you get through your day. I love everything from here all the time
(5)Helen P.
I am a sucker for breakfast burritos. That particular morning, I really didn't feel like cooking breakfast (sometimes I get tired of the same toast with cashew butter nonsense) and I wanted something heartier. I was originally on the way to Starbucks but then pulled over on the side of the road to yelp breakfast burritos (I was serious about wanting a breakfast burrito) and found Delia's Restaurant which was just on the other side of York. Plenty of street parking in the area and they had a yelp check in deal (10% off) so I was already happy. I ordered the breakfast burrito with chorizo (you can also get it with ham, bacon, or sausage)- it comes with eggs, hash browns and cheese. It also comes with a side of salsa (delish!). You can tell they are actually making it fresh because I had to wait about 5-10 minutes for them to cook it. It was scrumptious and I devoured the whole thing when I got home. I will definitely be back to literally try each breakfast burrito (meaning with the different meats) and also their burgers (saw other customers eating that). So happy it's close to my house!
(5)Eddie B.
This place is small but feels like home. Yelp says it opens at 8 but that is not correct. They open at 7 AM and have coffee ready to go with your breakfast. Chorizo and Egg Burrito was loaded and delicious. My new breakfast stop. And remember to bring CASH.
(5)Ren M.
I went here today. I'm visiting the city today and I wanted local Mexican food so here I went on Yelps and thought try them out. On top of the great tasting food I bought, the owners who also run the restaurant are so very friendly. The owner even brought my drink to me and I don't think it's a hosted restaurant. I ordered one of the most tastiest shrimp and fish tacos I've had. My son loved his chicken burrito as well. I also love that they have quite a variety that offers kids a wider selection to choose from. I will definitely be going back to this place and recommend this place to anyone wanting Mexican food. I wish I was staying longer so I could go try out more things on their menu. But I'll definitely be back when I come to visit again. Great food plus friendly and generous servers deserve 5 stars.
(5)Victor A.
first time visitor and was impressed. looks to be a family operation, which I try to support. But they have to deliver - and this place did. Excellent chorizo and eggs. This is a dish that other places can ruin by using greasy or low quality chorizo. Not this place. The beans were awesome. Will definitely return to get accustomed to the rest of the menu. Update Back twice more and while I still like it not so enthusiastically. It's good, not great. Still looking for great Mexican in HP
(3)Lindsay S.
Family-owned and run, which I love. VERY nice guy behind the register. Ordered two chicken burritos. They were fine. Not great, but fine. I think I caught them on an off day. Want to go back there and try something else, because I love supporting small neighborhood spots like the one. There were a good number of people in line behind me, too so these folks are doing something very well.
(3)Arthur R.
Delia's is an excellent little family owned restaurant that caters to the neighborhood Occidental College students, faculty, and staff; and to patrons that come as far as the San Fernando Valley, Silver lake, Echo Park, and surrounding areas. Food is excellent; Delia and her husband are very friendly, warm, and personable. Those are the qualities of great customer service. I continue to go there. Thanks again Delia for great food.
(5)Noah G.
Delia's is the kind of place that you will want to bring your friends, girlfriend, mother, or anyone you care about after you go. It is the kind of place that makes you feel good, both because the food is so tasty, and because the hosts are so friendly. The breakfast burritos here are some of the best in LA. I would recommend getting yours with chorizo, cheese, and avocado and make sure you ask for some of their homemade salsa. Enjoy!
(5)Milena M.
I moved into this area recently and discovered Delia's! I love coming here for breakfast on the weekends. The staff is so nice and the food is great! I usually get the breakfast burritos but they have a big menu to chose from.
(5)Candee M.
Such an amazing little restaurant. The staff is Great and they treat everyone like family. It's like going to your grandmas house after a long day and eating her amazing food. I have been here like 4 times but my boyfriend has been coming here since he was younger. The food is good and I will definitely not stop coming here. Plus she sells freshly squeezed orange juice! Yumm!(:
(5)Pancho V.
9/9/2009 Overall I'd give this place 2.5 Stars somewhere between "Meh and OK", and since there are TOOOO MANY better TACO joints in the area, I'm not coming back! Well it's been nearly FIVE years since I stepped foot in this place and honestly I'm surprised they're still around as this spot was always a revolving door of Mexican restaurants.... So why am I back, because The Boss aka The Wife wanted to come, someone LIED to her and told her they have good food!, but does she listen to me? NO! Already knowing the Tacos Suck! I'll check out the Breakfast and have a Breakfast Burrito! Breakfast Burrito - Bacon ($4.55) yelp.com/biz_photos/deli… My first thought was WOW that's s-m-a-l-l HONESTLY this should be $2.99 or less! Bacon, Eggs, Potato's and Cheese yelp.com/biz_photos/deli… Not enough bacon and what it did have was tiny bits that you really couldn't taste much of, eggs we OK, potato's were not cooked very well, cheese was adequate I'm not coming back! unless my wife makes me..........
(2)Ant P.
Good food cheap. Can't beat that with a bat. French toast special was great for its price. Love me divey joints
(5)Brittany K.
Delia's is a small, bright yellow, mom-and-pop, order-at-the-counter kind of place. The bacon breakfast burrito ($5 even) was ok. The hashbrowns were a little dry, but the scrambled egg was there in good amount. I'd prefer more bacon, but that's almost always the case. The salsa was very acidic and this was one of the few times I've eaten my burrito without it. It was ok, but I don't think I'll be craving another.
(3)Autumn A.
My favorite spot to eat in LA, and I live a couple of blocks away! I've been going to Delia's for well over a year after moving to the neighborhood. From the very first visit Delia greeted me with the warmest smile and a genuineness that I've hardly ever encountered in a retail establishment. In short, I felt like I was home. And her entire family is the same way! Beautiful people! Onto the food: dirt cheap, fresh ingredients (including a wonderful homemade salsa with a kick!), large portions, melt in your mouth goodness! I'm a vegetarian, and go for the breakfast burrito with spinach mushroom and tomato, and I'm addicted to their chilaquiles (which is extremely popular, always hear it being ordered when I'm there), veggie burrito, potato tacos, yum! So much to choose from, and they always substitute things so that you, the customer is always happy! Stop on by and say hi to Delia, Adolfo (father and son), Marc, and Anna. They're all so lovely, and it will make your day! Autumn
(5)Suzy R.
I absolutely love this place! My parents used to have a flower shop a block away from Delia's and I would eat there once a week. The owners are extremely nice people! They have great service, great food and amazing prices! My favorites are the steak sandwich and their asada burrito. You feel like you're eating at home when you are there.
(5)Sandy P.
So I was told that this was the best cheap eats place in LA, and breakfast is a must. Had the huevos rancheros and found them to be very tasty indeed and filling. Dining partners had a breakfast burrito and a cheeseburger, and everyone loved their food. We ate on the patio next to a mural of one of the Virgins (Guadalupe?) and got to meet Delia herself, who seems like a real sweet lady. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Service was pleasant and fast and the prices can't be beat.
(4)Matt K.
Was record shopping at the wonderful Gimme Gimme Records with a buddy of mine and we decided to stop for some food afterwards. Stumbled upon Delia's, a tiny unassuming shack on the side of York Blvd, that we could have accidentally passed by - even if we were looking for it. The woman behind the counter was excessively friendly in the best way and able to field our questions and give us recommendations. My friend settled on the wet burrito with beef and I went with one of my favorite dishes, the chilaquiles. After spending a measly 6-8 dollars a piece, we sat down and waited for the food. Not long, mind you, and it came out piping hot and ready to be devoured. Not only were the portions quite generous, the food itself blew me away. Ingredients tasted fresh, and their home-made salsa was insanely good (although very spicy, beware) - My buddy said it was the best burrito he's ever had. I honestly can't wait til my next visit so I can try something new. Anyone that gives this place a low review is a fool and their other reviews should not be trusted. I believe this wholeheartedly.
(5)Stephanie A.
Absolutely LOVE this place. There's no going wrong with their chicken nachos. For breakfast you have to have their chilaquiles, but if you don't like spicy then I would stay away from them or maybe see if they could make them without so much chili but idk if that's an option. I think they're spicy but oh so darn good! Try this place. Their tortas are also really good.
(5)Rocio C.
Food isn't good. They microwave the food, that's why you only see chillaquiles pictures on the reviews
(1)Emma G.
I'm so glad this place is in my hood. A very mom-and-pop place. It's very low-key but well run and the owners clearly take a lot of pride in it. I come here for their $5 breakfast burrito. One day I came in without cash (it's cash-only) and I tried to walk out and the cashier insisted I eat there and repay them later. I love having a cool neighborhood place like this, and I hope it doesn't get gentrified out of business with everything going on on York. Delia's is good people and good food!
(5)A C.
Wandering around looking for a place that serves menudo on a Wednesday morning, per the request of my daughter that has a cold. I happened to call this place, and the person on the phone was very friendly and said they do have menudo. So we drove to a very little, quaint restaurant...almost drove right by it! The lady taking orders was very warm and friendly. My order was ready upon arrival but my daughter wanted to dine in. The dining room is small...has about 5 small booths and 2 smaller booths. Although it was small, it didn't feel cramped, but rather cozy. Although I didn't taste the food, my daughter said it was good so I'll def be returning to try it. We even got a "have a nice day" with a smile to accompany it! That's something you don't experience too often in L.A.
(5)Ariana C.
Delicious (and cheap) breakfast burritos that they serve all day. Staff is super friendly-- I love coming here
(5)Chyillisa S.
I've been to Delia's several times to eat breakfast and every time the food has been absolutely amazing ! The service is just as wonderful. Very friendly & accommodating.
(5)Marley L.
Burrito plus a side of fries. Can't beat that! For 7 and some change. Perfecto! Will be back next Sunday!

The true definition of a mom and pop shop. The food is always on point and never disappoints. My go to plates are usually the bacon egg sandwich with avocado and chorizo and eggs! I've been coming here for years and don't plan on changing that anytime soon.

This place is seriously beyond amazing. Their breakfast burrito is a must-have, and the staff is extremely friendly. I love this place, TRUST.
(5)Joseph C.
Delias is my favorite breakfast spot in all of Eagle Rock. The prices are very cheap and the owner Delia is a saint. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The breakfast burritos are 10/10.
(5)Emily C.
LOVE this place. Super cute, really fast, the food is awesome, and at least the one person I met working there was so incredibly sweet. Not to mention, the bill for 2 people came to 15$ and that was with a tip. We both had french toast and it was really good, but I'm definitely looking forward to the breakfast burritos I've seen everyone talk about. Definitely turning this into a regular spot

I'm not familiar with the area and just started training for a new job around the corner from this place. I noticed this small business and decided to give it a try since Mexican food is at the top of my favorite things ever list. I ordered a few carne asada tacos to go and the owner was so nice I left a tip before I even recieved my food! It's a small place but there are a lot of people who frequent so calling in your order may be your best bet if you're in a hurry. I don't mind waiting though because the food and service are superb. The next time I came in I got the carne asada fries and man ... I thought I was in heaven. Lean steak, guacamole, cheese, sour cream, salsa and jalapeños all smothering a plate of perfectly cooked fries! I'm drooling just reminiscing right now. If you're ever in the area, definitely check this place out. Its cheap, delicious, and worth the wait.

I love this place!!! Great cheap neighborhood spot, great bean & cheese burritos. And they are so, so nice. I go by for breakfast burritos every Sat.

Was in area and yelped to find this place. So glad I did! I'm a huge breakfast lover and this place serves breakfast all day! Yay! I had the chilaquiles. It came with eggs, beans, a toasted bread/bun and a side of sour cream. Chile on the chilaquiles was fantastic! Eggs were fresh and beans were good. Did I mention the chilaquiles were amazing?! ;-) Coffee was good and cinnamon was available which is always appreciated. Staff was friendly. They definitely aim to please. They only accept cash but other than that, this was a fantastic find. When I'm in the area again, I will definitely return!
(5)Jonathan M.
Got an order to go. Food had good taste but tacos had little meat. I also ordered a breakfast combo which was pretty good except they packed: no ketchup, no butter or maple syrup for my pancakes, come ooon.
(3)Oscar R.
Delia and her hubby Adolfo take very good care of their customers.. The food is home style and amazingly good!! Their menudo on the weekends is thee bomb..plus their daily menu specials on n the chalk board on the side wall are thee best!! Always a pleasure to come here

My girlfriend and I are breakfast enthusiast and enjoy searching for great new places to eat in the eagle rock and highland park area. From day one Delia's has been both delicious and friendly. They are a cash only joint but it is always worth the trip to the ATM. It has quickly become one of our favorite places to have breakfast.
(5)Randi R.
Our daughter brought us here. Just arrived from PA and CRAVING great Mexican food. This cute little place around the corner from her house was just the ticket. Friendly and quaint with amazing home style food. Inexpensive and fresh. I had the wet burrito and shared it with my husband. So good. A little bit of heat. Perfect. I wanna go back before we leave! Must know - this is cash only.

The first thing you need to know about Delia's is that the people are amazing. The lady behind the counter always greets me with the warmest smile and it didn't take long for her to remember my usual order: A chorizo breakfast burrito with avocado. I spent my 4 years of college right around the corner and so many a weekend morning were spent at Delia's with a group of friends recovering from the night before. We'd pile into a booth, order up, and soon we'd be gorging ourselves on hearty burrito's or big breakfast platters. No money, no problem. If they know you you can just stop by later in the week and hand over the 5 or 6 bucks.
(5)Mary R.
Delia's is amazing! My go to spot for a breakfast burrito with avocado and green chill sauce. Staff here is so friendly and accommodating to any request -- one time they even stayed open past closing for us, they are truly kind people. I have yet to try anything other than the breakfast burrito but other friends I have gone with enjoy burritos, tacos, and enchiladas.

Delia's is the BEST DINER I have been to in Los Angeles. While it is not a haven of culinary innovation, it has excellent Mexican food along with amazing breakfasts at incredible prices. ($5.50 for 2 pancakes, 2 bacon strips, 2 eggs, 2 sausage links, and hashbrowns). What makes this place truly 5 stars is the friendliness of the staff, specifically Delia. Delia treats each customer as if they are family--with a sincerity that is hard to find in Los Angeles.
(5)Kat K.
I go to college right around the corner from Delia's and this is our favorite breakfast place by far. It's true, there isn't anything 'special' about the food, but what's special about this place is Delia herself and the way you feel at home. She knows us, she caters to your every need and she basically feels like mom. It's cash only, which can be a downside. HOWEVER, once my friends came in and forgot to bring cash so Delia told them to come back later and pay. Yep. Of course, because we love her, my friends went directly to get cash and came right back after their meal. Another time I was waiting at the counter behind a group and Delia came out from behind the counter to get my order in line. That type of service and dedication is what makes this place amazing. Perfect for college students that want a bit of home.

This place is a hidden gem that I've been coming to the last 4 years. They have excellent Mexican food and breakfast too. Although the place is very small the flavors and food is great at the right prices. They have breakfast plates starting as low as $3.99. I love their carne asada plate pictured for just $5.99. they have remodeled and added An outside patio too.
(4)Jose A.
One of the better burger joints in la. The 5 stars are for the burgers which are consistently delicious. The fries tend in the perfect side. That is they are crispy on the outside and airy delicious on the inside. Service is always friendly and there is usually parking. Highly recommended if you're in the area.
(5)Oscar R.
Great place to have your Sunday breakfast.. The menudo is the bomb here on the weekends..good homemade style Mexican food..their tacos De papa are also amazing..the owners are always here..and always look to see if your happy..
(5)Jerald D.
The best home style Mexican food around!! I would pay more the food is so so good! 20 stars!

I LOVE DELIA'S! I'll never forget my first time there - I had just moved to California and I lived in the neighborhood - had no fridge, no food, no money. My roommates and I were half starved and stumbled across this place. We immediately fell in love with the AMAZING staff and the HUGE portions of delicious food that were incredibly affordable. We became regulars and the staff treated us like family. We would eventually always take our friends and family from out of town there. It was our favorite place! (we've since moved to another part of LA) I've never experienced such a delightful restaurant and management in all my life. You guys are the best!!!
(5)Sung-Ho K.
Just one word, Delicious! You HAVE to try their carne asada Super Nachos. Its ingredients are amazingly well balanced! I'm drooling right now ahah Oh and I got the carne asada burrito along with the red sauce. When you get tacos or burritos, make sure to ask for the red sauce! If I had million dollars, I would spend it just to find out how they make it! So good I recommend this place 5/5
(5)Lisa W.
So I had a huge nacho craving-tortilla chips covered in melty cheese, juicy carne asada, beans, guac, etc., and came across raving yelp reviews for the nachos here. Based on the reviews I was looking forward to fulfilling my nacho hunger. I ordered carne asada nachos to go, which took forever by the way. I made the short drive home thinking about how yummy my nachos were going to be. I sat down at home with my styrofoam container and popped open the lid to find myself horrified. What I came home with were nachos but they were covered in that fake concession stand cheese sauce! Was I disappointed! These were not the nachos I envisioned. Needless to say I will not be returning.

Delicious, home cooked Mexican food in cozy, clean settings. We ordered breakfast burritos, which were generous and stuffed with piping hot scrambled eggs, cheese, potatoes and bacon. The tortillas really stood out - perfectly soft and chewy - as did the salsa, a good balance of spicy and smoky. The staff is always welcoming and friendly but they won't chat you up unnecessarily when you're just trying to stuff that burrito in your face after a long day. Never written a yelp review before - there are just are a lot of options for Mexican food in LA and I thought this one needed a shoutout. You can go to these overhyped Mexican places with thousands of reviews and wait in long lines, elbow some hipsters aside for a seat and leave stressed out and pissed off. Or you can plant your flag at an off the grid family owned place like this and enjoy a meal without all that BS.
(5)Tomas C.
The name brought me in - as my wife and my wife's mother are both Delia's too but the huevos con chorizo is what made me love the place ! We go to Manic Panic for haircuts up the block and have been driving by for some time and happy we finally stopped in !
(4)Brian S.
I've motored by this place a dozen times on my way to a delicious taco or two further east on York. (There's really no other good reason to further east on York, is there?) Anyway, I'm glad to report the tacos here are excellent. Small, just the right amount of meat, onions and cilantro, and salsa. Very Tasty! But not for the faint of heart -- they are SPICY. Make sure you stay near a bathroom for a good hour or two afterward! Maybe I'll come back to wolf down a quesadilla sometime soon. Ole!

This is a family owned restaurant that has been part of the community for quite some time. I will be honest and say that I have only eaten here a few times but each visit the food was greasy and satisfying. Everyone in the community, including my parents, have positive things to say about the food. They frequent this joint for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Their customer service is great. Delia and her husband are friendly and understand the importance of community. In November, I set up a class field trip to the fire station and then lunch at Delia's Restaurant. Delia worked out a menu at a discounted price for the two classrooms that attended the field trip. Although the restaurant is small, they were able to accomodate 45 students and 10 parents. In a nut shell, good food and friendly service.

This is a small, family owned restaurant. The service is pretty good....they'll remember you if you come more than once. Chicken sandwich....pretty good. Chicken patty burger...really good. They have steak fries instead of the regular fries. They don't charge for sides like ranch, witch is awesome.
(4)Karla V.
Inexpensive breakfast specials, good portion size, priced just right. Friendly service, I've had the cheeseburger special aswell, beef patty was good, not a greasy mess like other local restaurants..big steak fries...Omelettes are big and delish, your tummy and wallet will be happy
(4)Michael G.
I live a block away so I always come here. Delia is such a sweet lady. The food is great and the prices are so cheap. I am absolutely hooked on the breakfast burrito!
(5)Paul B.
breakfast burrito bliss. it feels like a friendly escape south of the border, with the lovely delia as your motherly hostess cooking up fresh treats to delight your hungover tastebuds. come here and you'll find yourself looking forward to your next visit!
(5)Cameron W.
Delia is wonderful lady. Setting aside the fact that her food is some of the most reasonably priced cuisine in all of LA, Delia only takes 3 days off a year. Talk about commitment. The breakfast burrito she makes is amazing! Delia's may not be a 5 star restaurant, but you know that as soon as you see the small red building. Overall, Its cheap, its good, and Delia is great!
(4)Jean B.
Awesome place with great food and very friendly owners
(5)Johny G.
Good food for the buck!
(4)Michael Anthony H.
I am a regular to this little joint everytime I can get into the area, and their burritos and tacos are great. Mom and pop joints like this are a hidden gem and the ambience is really cozy. The folks that own and run the place are honest and hard working so they aim to please, and please they do! The pozole hits the spot on cold days, but my weapon of choice is their carnitas burrito and the carnitas tacos come in a very close second.
(5)Kristine C.
The vegetarian tostada bowl is great if you're looking for a healthy dish without meat! It consists of fresh broccoli, bell peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, avocado, mushrooms, rice, beans, and dressing. I will definitely go back again!
(4)Michele K.
Love this place! Breakfast, lunch or snack - Delia and her place are just awesome! Huevos a la Mexicana, Huevos Rancheros, anything with her re-fried beans - YUM. Nothing fancy, just good honest food and a wonderful smile to greet you as you start your weekend... feel the love in every bite!
(5)J. V.
Family-owned Mexican restaurant with a big menu. The food is fresh and good, but be careful, 'cuz you might end up spending more than you thought... Tacos are OK, American breakfast is quite good. I like places like this, because the owners work hard, and the food is OK, honest and genuine. They're across the street from the fire station, and you see firefighters and other workers in there all the time. Their chips and salsa are also good. Worth checking out if you're a local. Feels/tastes almost like "home cooked", but not quite...

I drive from Echo Park to Delia's all the time for breakfast. It's absolutely delicious, cheap, and that cute boy behind the counter on Saturdays doesn't hurt.
(5)Jacky G.
Some of the best Mexican food I have had in LA... Plus their sandwiches are tasty and totally affordable. I enjoy coming her on weekends because it is not over crowded and the service is great!! Fries are also delicious! I would recommend this to anyone.
(5)Jeanne W.
this is really a 2.5 star place. i have to agree with other yelp reviews that describe this place as nothing particularly special. very friendly owner/staff. breakfast all day which actually could be useful, and might be the best thing they prepare. lovely fenced patio with umbrellas. burrito al pastor: pretty good quality diced pork, somewhat lacking in seasoning. actually the lack of seasoning applies rather overall. the accompanying hot sauce is cloying and sugary, clearly coming from a cheap bottle. likely will bypass this place in favor of el huaracito in lincoln heights. here are some photos though.
(3)Joseph S.
This place is not fancy but really delicious and the folks who work there are so kind and cheerful. They open early and going in there just kinda puts you in a good mood to start the day. I seek out Mexican breakfast places all over LA, have eaten at tons and Delia's is one of my favorites. Definitely try the breakfast burrito with chorizo and make sure they put the hot sauce inside. It's incredible.
(4)Alma M.
this is one of the best sustained businesses i know. i've been coming here for quite some time now and i gotta admit, the quality is worth the price you pay. maybe dennys may be cheaper but i will always prefer quality over quantity. delia is a total sweetheart and always does her best to keep clientele satisfied :) i will always keep coming :)
(5)Ruben B.
Always Great. Been coming here for 4-5 years and have never had a bad meal. Usually go for breakfast with GF. She usually has Chilaquiles or Chorizo&Eggs. I'll usually have eggs&French Toast. Everything is always great. Consistency and Awesome customer service.
(5)Michelle P.
I had just finished a 25 miles trail run in the San Gabriels and decided I deserved a burger. The Arcadia In-N-Out was packed so I headed home to Highland Park, figuring I would pick up something local. Delia's had a sign for tortas so I gave it a shot. The staff was friendly, but my carnitas torta was not so great. The cold cemitas bread didn't help. I should have just waited in line at In-N-Out.
(2)Randy D.
the refried beans and spanish rice are extremely tasty. so i'll give 2.5 stars. unfortunately, that's all they have to offer. me and the gf went here this afternoon. i ordered a wet pastor burrito, while she had an order of flautas with rice and beans. we washed it down with some horchata. nothing about our meal was memorable. the meat wasn't all that, and the salsa tastes like it came outta a can. also, the horchata was of the 'orange bang' variety. they serve diner food here too. maybe they do that kinda stuff better than their taqueria fare. i'm not gunna find out. there's so much more good mexican on york blvd to choose from....
(2)Jackie S.
This place is adorable and the food is nothing short of delicious. If you have five bucks in your pocket you can eat a legit breakfast that will leave you muy satisfecho. I recommend the chorizo and egg breakfast plate. It comes with refried beans, Mexican rice, chorizo, egg, three corn tortillas, AND homemade salsa - for $5 including tax! The restaurant is painted bright yellow and greens and the service is friendly. It's definitely casual but it's the perfect place to grab a satisfying breakfast on the East side.
(4)Banessa M.
So whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or a sitdown breakfast, delias is the place to go. Their breakfast is good at a great price, and their lunch is even better. I had the "super nachos" not too long ago and I've been a fan ever since. Plenty of meat, guac, sourcream, and fresh crisp tortilla chips. It's a must have when you come in.
(4)Dave L.
70% taqueria, 30% burger joint. Booth seating, very friendly lady behind the counter. I had a vegetarian burrito that was nicely appointed with chunks of avocado and came with a solid-good red hot sauce on the side. My associate had a chorizo-and-egg breakfast burrito which featured chunks of potato. He described it as good. Next time I'll go for the Garden Burger combo they have a sign for (with fries or salad and a drink, $4.50). If that's as good as the burrito was, I'll bump them up to four stars. I've just been getting some grief about the fact that I give out too many four-star ratings, and I don't have an adequate defense other than I don't waste time writing about Twos and I'm saving Fives for the best of the best. Yep. Oh, and apparently they serve breakfast all day long. Update 11/22/08: Had the garden burger combo. The burger was all right, on an oversize bun with decent slices of tomato, lettuce, onion (no cheese, but I'm sure I could have had them add that). It didn't quite coalesce into a messy atomic whole the way it does at places like Pete's Blue Chip in Eagle Rock. The steak-cut french fries they served with it, however, earn them that aforementioned fourth star. Practically perfect. Golden, crunchy, fluffy inside, plenty in number. And the ranch dressing was good enough to make me wonder if it's house-made. Maybe the best plate of fries I've had in Los Angeles. And, my friends, you know how I am about steak fries. Update 1/27/11: I keep going here. The steak fries are not only done exactly the way I like them, but consistently so. Every time. The garden burger combo is the only thing I ever get here, and for me, it's worth five stars, but I can't speak at all to the quality of the other stuff they serve. I wish they were open at night.
(4)Braden P.
This place is good not the best but i know the owners and i have worked their. My favorite plate is the birria which they only make on the weekends it is served with refried beans, rice, birria, and 3 tortillas.I also like their nachos and fries overall i would come here when i want some good birria.
